RedlandHazel MeeksPublished Wednesday, February 17, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune I kept telling you to keep your electric blanket on and sure enough it turned winter again. Grandparents, Johnny and Cindy Wake, and great grandparents, George and Dixie Clary, entertained grandkids, Kenzee and Kurt Calley over the weekend. Pershing and Mary Cox had lunch and visited Ann and Dale Wylie in Hope on Saturday. On Sunday their granddaughters, Peggy and Toni Cox, from Camden visited them. Doyle Meeks from Longview, Texas, Donna and Werner Schmidt, also from Longview and Lou Ann and Lee Kurtas from Houston, Texas, visited Neil and me on Saturday. Billie Ridling honored her son, Johnny, with a birthday dinner at her home on Saturday. Johnny's daughter and grandson, Lana and Dillion, from Donaldson were also there. Peggy and Al Butrick from Mississippi are spending this week with Billie. Neil and I spent Monday in Texarkana. What else? Seeing doctors of course.
