The young people of Morris Baptist Church entertained the adults with a Valentine banquet Friday evening. J.W. and Maxine Glass were crowned King and Queen of Hearts. Pat McCullough and Krista Webb were the coordinators and did a good job.

Sam and Jane Bradshaw of Camden visited her parents, Bro. Junior and Ann Loe, Saturday.

Lots of sickness in Caney. Don Callicott has been on the ailing list all week.

Bobby Lunsford is going to Little Rock this week for some more tests.

Coy and Grace Callicott had lunch with Bobby and Wanda Lunsford Sunday after church.

The Double 'C' Extension Homemakers Club will meet at Cale City Hall Wednesday at 6:30. All members are urged to attend and 'wantabes' are also invited regardless of age, race or gender.

Kevin and Kena Karmel and their twin boys of Dallas, Texas, visited his parents, Ken and Celia, last week. They arrived Thursday. Kevin had business in Bryant Friday. Margie Reed and I stopped by to visit Thursday on our way home from the fair board meeting. Kevin developed back problems while he was here so they returned home Saturday.

Thursday evening at 7:00 there will be Bible study at Morris Baptist Church. Our subject is God's plan of salvation as illustrated in the tabernacle.

Thought: Time may be a great healer, but it is a lousy beautician.
