Darrell P. CaldwellPublished Wednesday, February 24, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneDarrell P. Caldwell, 86, of Rosston died Sunday, February 21, 1999, at his home. Mr. Caldwell was born November 23, 1912, in Rosston to Charles Preston and Lena Wortham Caldwell. He was a retired roofing manufacturer. Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Florence Bailey Caldwell, who died the day before on February 20. Survivors include one son, Charles Thomas Caldwell of Granbury, Texas; one sister, Floy Waters and Herman, Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Darrell Caldwell of Granbury and Judy Higgins and Kenneth Caldwell of Bedford, Texas; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Graveside services will be today, Wednesday, February 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery in Nevada County with Rev. Kenneth Ward Jr. officiating.
