Things have been busy in Caney these past few days. Brandon Rhodes and Shelby Browning of Emmet were married Saturday evening. They honeymooned at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis.

Ann Loe and I attended a coffee at Nevada School Thursday morning. The coffee recognized volunteers of the grandparents program.

Margie Reed and I met with the Sams for supper at the Cross Roads Thursday evening.

Bro. Junior and Ann Loe spent Monday in Camden with their daughter, Jane Bradshaw, and family. Their granddaughter, Sara, came home with them to stay the night. Bro. Willie and Lajoy Knight also visited them Monday evening.

Helen May visited her doctor last week. She is still having trouble with her back.

Singing at Morris Baptist will be Thursday evening 7:00.

Bro. Tal will be in a youth revival at Trinity Baptist Church in Hope this week.

Janice Cannon and Heather Callicott had supper with me Saturday. Heather is suffering a sore throat.

Ken and Celia Karmel spent last week in Arizona. Ken played racquetball. They came home Sunday and somewhere along the way he developed back problems.

Thought: never fall asleep on the job, you might stay past quitting time.
