Would you be interested in learning about the beef cattle market outlook?

Do you want to know what factors affect forage yield and quality?

What are the six factors affecting profits?

These are some of the topics to be discussed at the 1999 Beef and Forage Clinics held in Hope, Prescott and Nashville. Guest speakers will be Kelly Gage, Extension livestock marketing specialist, Dr. Mike Phillips, director of the Southwest Research and Extension Center and Dr. Tom Troxel, Extension beef cattle specialist.

The clinics will be held in February and March. The first clinic will be at the Southwest Research and Extension Center in Hope on Thursday, February 18. The second clinic will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott on Thursday, February 25. The final clinic will be at the Extension Homemaker Club house in Nashville on Thursday, March 4.

The clinics will begin with a meal at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program starting at 6:45 p.m. Each night the program will conclude at approximately 8:15 p.m.

All three clinic programs have been individually customized with various speakers and informative topics related to the beef industry. Everyone is invited to attend one or all of the meetings.
