Published Wednesday, February 24, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneFOUKE 38 The Wolves made it to the finals by first eliminating Fouke 60-38 in their first game. The Panthers were able to play close for the first two quarters, but were stuffed and mounted in the second half. At the end of one the Wolves led 10-8 and trailed 29-24 at the break. This didn't set well with Prescott as the Wolves were on fire in the third, taking a 47-35 lead and finishing the final eight minutes by allowing a scant three points, while scoring 24. Prescott was 25 of 36 at the line, while the Panthers were one of three. Brannon Wilson led Prescott's attack with 23, while Andrew Fellows aded 16. Brandon Foster led Fouke with nine.
