GO-DEVILS 71, NEVADA 53

In the semi-finals against the Nevada Blue Jays, Gurdon took control early and maintained it throughout the game, winning 71-53 on Friday night.

The Go-Devils led 21-15 after one quarter, 37-30 at halftime and 60-44 after three periods.

Gurdon had five players in double figures against Nevada. This time it was Demond Beasley with 20 points to lead all players in the scoring bracket.

Rashun Hopson scored 13 points for Gurdon, Terry Cornish finished with 12 and Cameron House and Adrian Meeks each had 11 points.

Julius Gulley, with 17 points, was the only Nevada player in double figures.
