GO-DEVILS 67, BLEVINS 54

The Go-Devils eliminated Blevins from the District Tournament Wednesday, Feb. 17, by a score of 67-54.

Gurdon got off to a slow start, but the Go-Devils found their range in the second quarter. They were down 12-8 after the first period, but led 29-25 at intermission.

They came out in the third quarter, looking like the winning team they are, and they led 56-37 going into the final period.

Adrian Meeks of Gurdon led all scorers with 20 points.

Cameron House of scored 14 points for the Go-Devils and Terry Cornish and Demond Beasley each finished against Blevins with 10 points.

Marcel Johnson of Blevins scored 19 points for the Hornets. Mario McClinton added 12 points to the Blevins score and Calwin Newton scored 10 points.
