From there, Clark County Judge Floyd "Buddy" Manning will give his remarks and make the introductions. The Central Primary Singing Bears will perform, while guest speakers will be Ray Granade and Rep. Percy Malone. Special music will be performed by Patsy Harris, while members of the Clark County Quorum Court will place a memorial and plant a tree. Manning will make his closing remarks, which will be followed by a ribbon cutting by the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce. These festivities will be held at the north entrance of the courthouse and those attending are asked to bring lawnchairs. Third and Fifth streets will be closed Sunday, Feb. 28, through Monday, March 1, until the ceremonies are over. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
