Larry Smith

Mr. Larry Earl Smith, 57, of Prescott, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at his home.

He was born in Long Beach, Calif., on Dec. 19, 1950, to Earl and Naomi Toppie Fielding Smith. He was disabled and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Smith.

His survivors include two daughters, Tonya Childers of Tatum, Texas and Amanda Guardado of Humble, Texas; his mother, Naomi Toppie Fielding Darden of Longview, Texas; two brothers, Jimmy Smith of Longview, Texas and Bobby Smith of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Loretta Blackman of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, with Rev. Mike Ward officiating. The burial was in Union Cemetery in Bodcaw. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.

Family received friends Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope. The online guest book is at www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com
