Annie Mae WoodPublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesAnnie Mae Elizabeth (Hollingshead) Wood, 90, of Gurdon died Friday, February 19, 1999. Mrs. Wood was a homemaker and a member of Beech Street Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Henry Wood Jr. and wife Melba Wood of Texarkana, Texas; a daughter, Peggy Koen and her husband Dr. Carl Koen of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren, Roger Koen of Dallas, Texas, Carla Koen of Little Rock, Genevieve Wood of Washington, D.C., and Amanda Wood Aucoin and grandson-in-law Brent Aucoin of St. Petersburg, Russia. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Wood, on January 8, 1988, and a son, Roger William Wood, in April, 1946. Funeral services were held February 22, 1999, in Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
