Mary CarterPublished Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneMary Laoice Daniell Carter, of Sherman, Texas, died Oct. 13, 2008. She was born Feb. 16, 1922 in Cale, to A.O. Daniell and Audie Hicks Daniell. Laoice was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Daniell; a sister, Clara Mae Carter and two half sisters, Laverne Hibbs and Marvis Loe. Her survivors include her husband, Leon Carter; son, Michael Carter and wife Anna Margaret of Va.; three granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great-grandchildren.
