James BrownPublished Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneJames Milton Brown, son of James and Bessie (McGuirt) Brown, was born on September 20, 1936, in Hollywood, Arkansas and passed away in Henderson on Oct. 14, 2008, at the age of 72. For many years, James worked in area sawmills and had recently retired. He also for the past five years has worked for the Henderson Wal-Mart as a greeter. During his free time he enjoyed spending time at the Henderson V.F.W., going dancing wearing his cowboy boots and Stetson Hat and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bessie Sanders. He is survived by his four children, Reggie Brown, of San Antonio, Texas, Vicki Wilson, of Hope, Bobby Brown, of Tyler, Texas and Roger Brown, of San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Margie Wicker, of Prescott, and his cat, Tabitha. At James request, he was cremated and his family had a memorial grave side service at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Piney Grove Cemetery, in Boughton.
