William Roy LynnPublished Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneWilliam Roy Lynn, 67, of Poteet, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 3, in Poteet. He was born Sept. 30, 1941 in Prescott. He is survived by his wife Betty Joan Lynn; his children, Robert Roy Lynn and Karen Kay Lynn of Poteet; one brother, Robert Thomas Lynn of Prescott; one sister, Katherine Lynn of Prescott; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Visitation was Monday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, prior to a funeral celebration at 1 p.m., followed with interment at the Masonic Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Jeff Johnson of the First Baptist Church. The funeral arrangements were by G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home of Del Rio LTD, 114 Fletcher Drive, Del Rio, Texas 78840.
