Rev. Willie Knight

Rev. Willie F. Knight, 86, of

Hampton, died Friday, Sept. 12,

2008, in Council Bluff, Iowa.

He was the minister at the

Hampton Missionary Baptist

Church.

He was preceded in death by

three sisters, Onie Drummond,

Louise Stokes, and Virginia

Ingram and one brother, J. V.

Knight.

He is survived by his wife,

Lejoy McBrayer Knight of

Hampton; one son, Mark Knight

of Farmeville, La.; two daughters,

Gail Brown and husband

Steve of Council Bluff, Iowa,

and Sherry Brown and husband

Ron of Crossett; two sisters,

Zadie Palmer and Josselyn

Jeffers of Camden; one brother,

Vennis Knight of Nyack, N.Y.;

six grandchildren and eight

great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was

Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m., at

Trinity Missionary Baptist

Church with burial in Ebenezer

Cemetery near Bluff City. Rev.

Don McCormick officiated the

service. Visitation was Monday

from 6-8 p.m. at Proctor Funeral
