HSU Schedules Internet Class On MarketingPublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesThe Henderson State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in cooperation with the Arkadelphia Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar on Internet marketing techniques on March 11 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Room 127 of Caplinger Hall on the campus of HSU. Timothy Lee, computer training specialist from the Arkansas Small Business Development Center, will be presenting the seminar. Small business owners are encouraged to participate. The seminar will provide participants with successful techniques to market their products or services via the Internet. Participants will learn how to get better responses from e-mail, how to design banners to increase 'hits' and much more. Participants will receive a booklet of information to take back to their businesses. A fee of $10 will be charged for the seminar.
