Annie DuncanPublished Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneMs. Annie Elizabeth Clark Duncan, 59, of Emmet, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. She was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Natchitoches, La., to Everett E.C. and Grace Hampton Clark. She was an employee of the Hope Livestock Auction Incorporated in Hope. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church of Emmet and the Cattlemans Association. She was preceded in death by her parents. Her survivors include two daughters, Tracie Brewster and Vicki Marbury and Cory, all of Emmet; one sister, Mittie Clark Malone of Emmet; one granddaughter, Brittany Brewster of Emmet; one niece, Leah McJunkins and Sam of Genoa; and one nephew, Sean Clark and Kim of Emmet. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 1, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel of Hope, with Revs. James Cox and Jerry Westmoreland officiating. The burial was in Snell Cemetery in Emmet. The arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope. The family received friends Sunday, Aug. 31, from 4-6 p.m., at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
