Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Gurdon Times Hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having. Several members at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center have been sick. We wish them all a speedy recovery. There are several activities planned for the month of March. Martha Bearden, our activity director, is doing a good job. We'll try to have more about the activities next week. The ones attending the center have been enjoying tasty meals and visiting with friends. We would love to see those attending who enjoy things to do besides staying home. Bingo is being played on Monday and we have singing on Wednesdays. If you would like to work as a volunteer, stop by and see what needs to be done. Volunteers are an important part of the Gurdon Center. The center serves lunch Monday through Friday at 11:25 a.m. we would love for you to stop by and see what the center has to offer.
