Annual cancer society plans 4-man scramble

The Nevada County Cancer Association has

set the annual Jim McKenzie Golf Tournament for

Aug. 9.

The annual event is the major fundraiser for

the cancer association, according to NCCA

President Debbie Henderson.

Henderson said the 4-man scramble will be

held at the Prescott Country Club with flights slated

for both morning and evening. Ricky Reyenga

is taking reservations for t-times. Henderson said

Reyenga can also match up players who dont

have the requisite four-man team.

The money is used for support of local cancer

victims and to support the CARTI and American

Cancer Society.
