Chabli Hayden

Chabli R. Hayden, 33, of Alexander, formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1974 in Prescott. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed by the State of Arkansas as the Director of the Family Assistance Centers. He received a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Park University. He was an ordained minister.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alexander Williamson, Queen and Will Hayden and two aunts, Annie McGill and Corene Hayden.

His survivors include his wife Michelle Hayden of Alexander; his parents, Dale and Brenda Hayden of Prescott; two sons, Markel Hayden of Omaha, Nev. and Deontae Hayden of Alexander; two daughters and one son-in-law, Latoya and Darnell Boyd of Clayton, N.C. and Charnay Hayden of Alexander; two sisters, Terrace Hayden of Irving, Texas and Shantae Hayden of Dallas, Texas; his grandmother, Lucille Williamson of Hope; his mother-in-law, Joyce Jackson of Wilmington, Del.; his father-in-law, William Jackson of Chester, Penn.; one brother-in-law, Darryl Jackson of Lansdowne, Penn.; his aunts and uncles, Myrtle and Raymond Smith, Charlotte and Rondy Briggs, Gayle Valencia, Diane Kirby, Lorene Hayden, Lynda and Jerry Stuart, Carolyn and Leon Warren, Charles and Jackie Hayden and Willie and Kathy Hayden; one nephew, Tiere Gulley and a host of extended family and friends.

The funeral service was at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 19, at Munns Chapel Baptist Church, 1017 Moncrief St. in Prescott, with Rev. Arthur and Rondy Briggs officiating. The burial was in De Ann Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers were Varnardo Williams, Jonathan Briggs, O.J. Tidwell, Jeffrey Woodberry, Terry Williams and Terry Walker. Honorary pallbearers were Gerren Smith, Chris Smith, deacons and trustees of Munns Chapel and the Prescott High Class of 1992.
