Lou Elvis SewellPublished Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneLou Elvis Sewell, 94, of Waldo, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott. She was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Willisville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include two nephews, James Stocks and wife Marie of Raleigh, N.C. and Joe Stocks and wife Kitty of Cabot. The grave side service was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 17, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Willisville, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
