TOURNAMENT RECAP

Wednesday, Feb. 24-

The tournament kicked off Wednesday with four games: girls, boys, girls and then boys.

In the first game Caddo Hills eliminated Genoa Central 49-38 with Anna Porter scoring 12 points and Jessica Robbins getting 10 for the winners.

Antario Glover scored 30 points for Stephens as the Roadrunners took care of Mineral Springs 94-52 in the second game. Reggie Todd scored 18 for the winners, Steven Todd followed with 15 points and Brandon Glover finished with 11 points.

In the third game Centerpoint stopped Stephens 65-57 with Shannon Bolle getting 19 points, JadaMontgomery 18, Kaci Kelley 13 and Sandra Davis 10 for the winners.

In the final game Mount Ida took care of Genoa Central 59-38. Justin Bowling scored 22 points for Mount Ida, and Jared Standridge and Josh Carr each got 12.

Thursday, Feb. 25-

The Nevada senior girls beat Dierks 67-48 in the first game with Ramona Evans getting 37 points for the winners while Jackie House scored 10.

The Centerpoint boys outlasted the Nevada Blue Jays 79-70 with Chris Rice scoring 39 points for the winners. Charlie Watson and David Watson scored 20 and 13 points respectively for the winners.

In the next game, the Gurdon Lady Devils were taken out of the tourney by Horatio 60-47; and in the final game the Go-Devils eliminated Dierks 78-46.

Friday, Feb. 26-

Caddo Hills continued its dominance by taking out Nevada's Lady Jays 57-42 with Anna Porter scoring 35 and Nicole Beck getting 16 points for the winners.

The Stephens senior boys also showed their stuff by taking out Centerpoint 83-52 behind the schooting of Antario Glover, Andre Marsh and Reggie Todd, who scored 22, 21 and 13 points respectively for the winners.

Horatio took out Centerpoint 56-52 in the third game with Karla Hernandez getting 23 points and Samantha Hankins and Kasha Magaha finishing with 11 points apiece for the winners.

Gurdon's Go-Devils advanced by defeating Mount Ida 77-62 in the final game of the semi-finals.

Saturday, February 27-

The finals had Caddo Hills edging Horatio 62-60 in senior girls action and Stephens getting a 69-48 victory over Gurdon in the boys' game.
