Nancy MaroonPublished Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Nancy Carol Maroon, 55, of Laneburg, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at her home. She was born on Dec. 9, 1952, in Texarkana, to Robert and Doneta Cash Glass. She was a retired store manager of Dollar General, Inc. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Antioch. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Glass. Her survivors include her husband of almost 38 years, Tim Maroon of Laneburg; one son, Brian Andrew Maroon of Laneburg; two daughters, Misty Gay Maroon of Laneburg and Andrea Leigh Maroon of Burlington, Ontario; her mother, Doneta Cash Daniels and Elmer of Hope; four brothers, Bo Glass of Magnolia, Joe Glass of Hope, Jack Glass of Brick, N.J. and Jim Glass of Laneburg; two sisters, Penny Almand of Nashville and Cindy Cripps of Camden; one grandson, Seth Alexander Maroon of Laneburg; one special angel, light of her life, Hunter Davis of Laneburg; and several nieces and nephews.
