Adell Blake

Mrs. Adell Furlow Blake, 82, of Prescott, died Monday, June 2, 2008, in a local hospital.

She was born Nov. 26, 1925 in Prescott to Matilda Furlow and John Jackson. She was retired from the Nevada County Hospital dietary department and a member of Munns Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Blake; five brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Sam Stafford and Burnette Muldrow of Prescott; one daughter, Patricia Blake of Prescott; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Flossie Furlow of Berkeley, Calif.; four nieces and a number of other relatives.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, June 6, at the funeral home.

The service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Munns Chapel Baptist Church in Prescott. Rev. Arthur Hill, pastor, officiating.

Burial was at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home, Inc. of Hope
