It was no contest in Gurdon's first game, played Thursday night in the last game. Gurdon took Dierks, 78-46.

The Go-Devils led 19-12 after one quarter and 44-23 after two. They had a commanding 66-29 lead going into the final period.

Four Gurdon players scored in double figures, while 11 scored in the game.

Demond Beasley scored 14, Rashun Hopson scored 13, and Cameron House finished with 10.

Others scoring for the Go-Devils were Terry Cornish and Keevin Beasley with 8 points apiece, Chris Thompson with 4, Derek Anderson with 3 and Cameron Rhinehart, Kenard Peagram and Blake Norris each scored 2 points for the Devils.

Jarrod Fannin scored 12 points for the losers.
