Nell Stratton

Mrs. Nell Stratton, 74, of Camden, died June 1, 2008 in Camden.

She was born August 14, 1933 in Bodcaw, to Alexandria and Elca Manning Bosell. Mrs. Stratton was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Camden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexandria Thomas Boswell and Elca Manning Boswell and her husband, William E. Stratton.

Survivors include four sons, Mike Stratton of Camden, Jeff Stratton and wife Gail of Camden, Dan Stratton of Ozark and Randy Stratton of Sherwood; one daughter, Penny Kelley and husband Mike of Camden; one sister, Kathy Carlton and husband Harlin of Bodcaw; one brother, Terry Boswell and wife Murlene of Midlothian, Texas; four grandchildren, Jessica Kelley of Chicago, Melissa Kelley and Chad Stratton, both of Camden, and Ashley Stratton of North Little Rock; a special caregiver and friend, Becky Barron of Camden; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, at the Unity Baptist Church in Camden with Rev. Sonny Porterfiled officiating with burial in Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, under the direction of AO Smith Funeral Home.

The visitation was held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.
