Gertie CaglePublished Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneGertie L. Cagle, 88, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2008. She was born on November 3, 1919 in Prescott, a daughter of the late Ruie N. and Hester Gammage Cathey. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God for 49 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie M. Cagle USN Retired, and her sister, Allie Mae Pollard. She is survived by a son, Johnie G. Cagle, and his wife Cielo, of Little Rock; a daughter, Cathey DeFoggi, and her husband David, of Powhatan, Va.; grandchildren Linda, Tiffany, John Mark, Michelle, and Lance; great-grandchildren Aiyana, Jacob and Shaelyn; a brother, Martin R. Cathey, and his wife Alice; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at Trinity Assembly of God, with Rev. Tony Jones officiating. Interment was at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 501-224-8300.
