Minnie OtwellPublished Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Minnie Opal Otwell, 88, of Wichita, Kans., formerly of Cale, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Kansas. She was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Blevins, to David Anthony and Pearl Morris. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cohen C. Otwell and one son, Bobby Lynn Otwell. She is survived by one son, Cohen R. Ronnie Otwell of Sarepta, La.; one daughter, Deretha Miller of Little Rock; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service was at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 17, at Friendship Cemetery in Cale, with Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. The family received friends Saturday, May 17 from 11-noon at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
