Polly Sue PryPublished Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayunePolly Sue Pry, 66, of Emerson, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 in her home. She was born January 20, 1942 in Prescott to Ritchie and Pauline (Baker) Graham. She was a longtime employee of the Emerson School District as a substitute teacher and most recently as a cafeteria worker. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Emerson. Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Charles Alvin Pry. Survivors are one son, Charles T. Pry of Little Rock; one daughter, Kim Saunders and husband, James and one granddaughter, Hannah all of Emerson; two sisters, Libby Crane and husband Donald of Prescott and Jeannie Browning and husband, Buddy of Texarkana; one brother, Jake Graham and wife, Cheryl of Emmet; two sister-in-laws, Anna Sue Weeks of Santa Rosa, Fla. and Martha Simms and husband, Jim of Scott; one brother-in-law, David Pry and wife Carolyn of Emerson, several nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends. The funeral service was at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, at Bailey Chapel with Bro. Dale Fish officiating. Burial was at Emerson Presbyterian Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia. Visitation was Monday, May 12 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
