Evans, Gulley Of Nevada Named All-Region Players

Ramona Evans and Julius Gulley of Nevada were named to the All-Region Team Saturday night at Gurdon at the climax of the Class AA Region 7 tournament.

Antario Glover of Stephens was named the most valuable player (MVP) in the boys' bracket. Anna Porter of Caddo Hills was named MVP in the girls' division.

Other girls besides Evans named to the All-Region Team were Nicole Beck of Caddo Hills, Jada Montgomery of Centerpoint, Marci Story of Dierks, Shanna Humphries of Genoa Centeral, Samantha Hankins and Karla Hernandez of Horatio, Desheka Porchia of Stephens and Tiffany Ware and Lavonda Young of Gurdon.

Other boys besides Gulley named to the All-Region Team were Brandon Glover and Reggie Todd of Stephens, Chris Rice of Centerpoint, Coy Mason of Genoa Central, Jonathan Coulter of Mineral Springs, John White of Mount Ida and Rashun Hopson, Terry Cornish, Demond Beasley and Adrian Meeks of Gurdon.

The players were selected by ballet among the coaches.
