She also fouled out in the fourth period. Jackie House, who had fever all day, played although she was sick. The odds were against the Lady Jays. Evans only scored 11 points when she usually reaches 20 or 30 points. Others scoring for Nevada were Pam Young and Ronetha Pearson with 7 points each, House scored 6, Alexis Madison scored 5 and Jenifer Harding finished with 4 points. Anna Porter, the tournament's most valuable player, scored 35 points for the Lady Indians. Team mate Nicole Beck scored 16 in their elimination of the Lady Jays.
