Just a Thought

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith is so important to our lives but more than that this week I want to focus on our proving of our faith in light of the verse above.

Without faith it is impossible to please Him is a solid statement of what God is expecting from His children. Faith pleases God as we do the things that show we have faith: prayer, Bible study, worship and obedience prove our faith.

Then for he who comes to God must believe that He is, believing that He is means we live in such a way that shows we know what the Bible says about God and His nature, and that what it says impacts our behavior.

Finally and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. One day there will be a day of reckoning for all of humanity. God will reward those who have faith and live like they know He will do what He has said He will do. Its just a thought ... but it could change your life.
