Jimmy Stephens

Jimmy Ray Stephens, 63, of Gurdon, died April 24, 2008, in Texarkana.

He was born Dec. 27, 1944, in Gurdon. He worked for trucking/construction. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gurdon and a Veteran of Air Force. He was the son of Paul H. Stephens and Faye Lorini Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Deborah Nolan Stephens.

His survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Stephens, of Ashdown and one brother, Phillip W. Stephens of Fort Smith.

A memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of Gurdon, May 3, at 20:30 a.m., with Phillip Brown officiating.
