Ruby Lee Easley McClure 87, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, in Gurdon.

She was born January 30, 1921, in Clark County to Tom and Maude Minor Easley.

She was a retired CNA from Pineview Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Church of God where she was a former Sunday school teacher and a member of the Trustee Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 53 years, Jessie McClure.

She is survived by two daughters, Genevea Alexander of Benton and Vivian (Virgil) Spruill of Gurdon; two sons, Elton Buddy (Francis) McClure and Royce (Judy) McClure both of Gurdon; one brother, Roy Easley of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Annie Anderson of Vicksburg, Miss., and Thelma Howard of Forth Worth, Texas; a special caregiver and sister-in-law, Mary Easley Weaver, and sister-in-law Stella McClure of Gurdon; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great-great grandsons.

Funeral services were held at Pharr Funeral Home Chapel in Gurdon April 15 at 11 a.m. under direction of Bro. Mike Taylor and Bro. David Owens. Interment followed at Easley Cemetery in Gurdon.
