Henry Moseley

Henry E. Moseley, 83, of Arkadelphia, died April 18, 2008, in Arkadelphia.

He was born June 29, 1924 in Malvern, to Joseph Floyd and Daisy Bell Moseley. He was a retired truck driver. He was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the Arkadelphia Chapter of VFW, member of the Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church for 49 years, and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Gurdon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ella Irene Stephenson Moseley and one sister, Mary Frances Jesture.

Her survivors include one son, Russell and Karen Moseley of Gurdon; one daughter, Ella and Ricky Billingsley of Prescott; three brothers, Ray Moseley of Gurdon, Johnny Moseley of Baton Rouge, La. and Charles Moseley of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Dorothy Picket of Camden, Ruth Perkins of Malvern, and Mae Blunt of Emmet; three grandchildren, John Moseley of Gurdon, James Moseley of Arkadelphia and Nicole Billingsley of Prescott; and two great-grandchildren, Shaun Moseley and Jessika Moseley, both of Gurdon.

Visitation was Saturday, April 19 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service was Sunday, April 20 at 10 a.m. at the Pharr Chapel.
