Audrey Corene HerrboldPublished Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneAudrey Corene Herrbold, 85, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008. She was born February 13, 1923 in Prescott, to Claude and Alta Cross Lowdermilk. She obtained a BSN from Memphis State School of Nursing and was licensed as an R.N. Audrey was a Lt. in the Womens Army Corps. She was a member of St. Vincents Cathedral Church in Bedford. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jay Herrbold and brother Johnny Lowdermilk. She is survived by her children, Paul Herrbold and wife Judy, Charlotte Herrbold and husband Wade Franks, Scott Herrbold and wife Maefair and Susan Herrbold and partner Kelly Brooks; grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Michelle Keese; great grandchildren, Tyson Keese and Savanna Keese; brother, Winzel Lowdermilk and wife Ruthal. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15 at the funeral home. The funeral service was at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, at St. Vincents Cathedral Church with Revs. Ryan Reed and John W. Jordan, as celebrants. The graveside service was at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Prescott. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincents Prayer Garden, 1300 Forest Ridge Dr, Bedford, TX 76022 and phone is 817-354-7911.
