W. L. Winemiller

Mr. Wilburn L. Bill Winemiller, 82, of Washington, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, in Hope as a result of an auto accident.

He was born Feb. 27, 1926 in Heber Springs, to John and Phoebe Moody Winemiller. He was former owner/operator of Winemillers Resturant and former grocer. He was a self-employed businessman. He was a member of Washington First Baptist Church in Washington and a Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth Thompson Winemiller; and four sisters, Dovery West, Evelyn Dean Tumblin, Lucille Winemiller and Bonnie Aldrich.

His is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Winemiller of Washington; five sisters, Kay Carpenter of Fergus Falls, Minn., Ola Mae Watkins of Ypsilanti, Mich., Sue Clements of Caraway, Barbara Usleton and Lu Barratiere, both of Edmond, Okla.; and two grandson, D. J. and Trey Clark of Washington.

The funeral service was at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 9 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Dale officiating. The burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.

The family received friends Tuesday, April 8, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
