Mary P. GibsonPublished Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Gurdon TimesPauline Gibson, 74, of Gurdon, died March 23, 2008, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was born July 2, 1934, in Waldron, the daughter of the late George Robert and Eria Alice Wagner Bean. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Gurdon. She was preceded in death by one son, Delbert Gibson; five sisters and three brothers. Survivors include: Two daughters, Alice Badeaux and Patricia Jester of Gurdon; five sons, David Gibson of Arkadelphia, Douglas Gibson of New Mexico, Donald Gibson of Chidester, Dennis Gibson of Fort Smith and Roy Gibson of Arkadelphia; one sister, Joyce Henson of Fayetteville; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral was March 25 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Lloyd Baumgardner officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery at Sycamore under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.
