Just a Thought

Spring time is such a wonderful time of year; everything is blooming and green and it seems like there are more birds singing and the sun is shining more lately (in between the showers) than it has over the past few months. What a splendid time of year. But the best thing about spring is the holiday we celebrate this Sunday-Easter.

Easter is the most special holiday on the Christian calendar because it reminds us of our Savior's sacrifice on Calvary's cross. Life is what it is in Christ because of Easter. What Jesus did was so important to Him that He was not willing to let anything or anyone get in the way of what He came to do - offer Himself as the "Lamb of God" to take away the sins of the world. Many wonder why, the answer is found in the most well-known verse in the Bible, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, (here is the key) that whosoever would BELIEVE in Him would not perish but have everlasting life."

Spring is a season of new beginnings, if you haven't already why not begin that everlasting life in Christ today. It's just a thought . . . but it could REALLY change your life.
