Wingfields celebrate golden anniversary

Ray and Hilda Wingfield of Arkadelphia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, March 15. They were married March 22, 1958, in Gurdon.

Wingfield is a retired postmaster and fireman. A former Clark County sheriff, he is retired from the Clark County Sheriffs Office.

His wife, the former Hilda Pruitt, is a homemaker.

The couple have four daughters, Lisa Turner of Arkadelphia, Debi Pongetti of Little Rock, Kathy Francis of Hot Springs and Sandy Clark of Arkadelphia. They have five grandchildren.

They had a private family celebration at Shady on the White. The couple plan a trip to Belize, their favorite island, later.
