Wingfields celebrate golden anniversaryPublished Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the Gurdon TimesRay and Hilda Wingfield of Arkadelphia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, March 15. They were married March 22, 1958, in Gurdon. Wingfield is a retired postmaster and fireman. A former Clark County sheriff, he is retired from the Clark County Sheriffs Office. His wife, the former Hilda Pruitt, is a homemaker. The couple have four daughters, Lisa Turner of Arkadelphia, Debi Pongetti of Little Rock, Kathy Francis of Hot Springs and Sandy Clark of Arkadelphia. They have five grandchildren.
