A Gurdon man called police to his apartment Saturday, March 15, at 2 a.m. to report that a man had ordered his dog to attack him and that he then broke a window in his home.

Officer Garry Marshall responded to the call on 10th Street. The victim, a 36-year-old Hispanic man, reported that the suspect was another Hispanic man, about 6 foot, 2 inches, and had a moustache and goatee, according to a police report.

He said the suspect knocked on his door, and after opening it, the suspect reportedly told his pit bull or bulldog to attack him.

The victim closed his door, and then the suspect reportedly threw a beer bottle through the window that led to his kitchen.

He told police the man was driving a Dodge Neon, either black or dark green, with a personal license plate on the front of the car.

The victim said that he had never seen the man before.
