Donnie D.J. DouganPublished Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneDonnie D.J. Dougan Jr., 36, went to heaven on Monday, March 17, 2008, in Prescott. He was born Sept. 17, 1971, in Nevada County to Donnie Joe Dougan Sr. and Leigh Billingsley Dougan. He attended Parkers Chapel High School in El Dorado and graduated from Emmet High School in Emmet. He was an employee of Klipsch in Hope and former employee of the former Meyers Bakery in Hope. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Gurdon. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Oscar Dougan, and his maternal grandfather, Glenn Billingsley. He is survived by two sons, Alex Dougan and Brady Dougan, both of Prescott; one daughter, Raegan Dougan of Prescott; his father, Donnie J. Dougan of Prescott; his mother, Leigh B. Glass and Joe of El Dorado; two brothers, Jamie Dougan of Perkins, Okla., and Tommy Glass of El Dorado; one sister, Melissa Glass Washburn of Cabot; his paternal grandmother, Beatrice Dougan of Prescott; his maternal grandmother, Julia Beardsley of El Dorado; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Brazzel/Cornish Chapel with the Rev. Jim Farris officiating. Burial was to follow in Piney Grove Cemetery at Boughton under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott. The family received friends Friday, March 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
