Kerry Nivens

Kerry Wayne Nivens, 62, of

Hope, died March 10, 2008, in

Hope.

He was born Feb. 15, 1946 in

Prescott. He is the son of Ruff

Nivens and Lillie Bell Loe

Nivens. He was self-employed.

He is preceded in death by his

parents; four brothers, James

Nivens, John Nivens, Keith

Nivens and Lyle Nivens; and

one sister, Linda Ann Hill.

He is survived by his wife of

42 years, Peggy Hampton

Nivens of Hope; one daughter,

Debbie Nivens Widner and Tim

of Clinton; two sons, Steven

Nivens of Hope and Mark

NIvens and Rosetta of Batson,

Texas; six grandchildren,

Summer Nivens of Hope, Jared

and Sean Widner of Clinton,

Justin Nivens of Hope, John

Glenn and Justin Harrington of

Baston, Texas; four sisters,

Donita Salisbury of Hope, Nell

Gibson and Malring of

Longview, Texas, Nina Beth

Thompson and David of

Blevins, and Alita Sams and

Carl of Prescott; four brothers,

Carroll Nivens and Linda,

Kenneth Nivens and Sandra,

Leon Nivens and Nelda and

Harold Nivens, all of Prescott.

The grave side service was

held Thursday, March 13 at 1o

a.m. in Sweet Home Cemetery

with Bro. Austin Missey officiating

under the direction of

Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.

Visitation was Wednesday,

March 12, between from 6-8

p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral
