ALT and CADC to host "Opal's Husband"

Arkadelphia Little Theater and CADC-Arkadelphia Senior Adult Center are joining forces for a dinner theater on March 25 at 6 p.m. The Senior Center will serve a spaghetti dinner, and Arkadelphia Little Theater will present the comedy, Opals Husband, by John Patrick.

Tickets are $12 each. the Senior Center is located on North 10th Street in the former bowling alley.

The synopsis of the play is that Opal tries to do a good deed for a friend, but in doing so she experiences all sorts of problems because of it.

The part of Opal, the junk collector, is played by Virginia Walker. Judi Malcom plays Rosie, Opals friend. Bob Shuff is Captain Mooney, who is looking for a wife. Amelia Alter and Joe Miller play Mooneys daughter and her husband. Dr. John Crawford is the director.

Tickets are available at the Senior Adult Center, or reservations can be made by calling Mary Jo Mann at 870-246-6250.

On March 28-29, Arkadelphia Little Theater will again present the play at The Poets Loft, 514B Central Ave. in Hot Springs. Tickets for these performances are $10 each and will be available at the door.
