Fire departments uniteJoe PhelpsPublished Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in the Gurdon Times Curtis and Okolona Volunteer Fire Departments teamed up Tuesday, March 11, to extinguish a house fire at 2850 Hwy 53 N. Curtis volunteers were dispatched to the scene. The fire was in Okolonas area, so the Curtis department passed the job to them after they arrived.
