Dixie Lee FarrerPublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneDixie Lee Farrer, 57 of Bodcaw died Tuesday, February 23, 1999. She was born March 10, 1942, to Herbert and Rhoda Booth Johnson. She was a member of Anderson Baptist Church at Spring Hill. Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Farrer of Bodcaw; two sons, Joe B. Farrer of Austin and Jeffery J. Farrer of Bodcaw; two daughters, Latricia A. Monk and Leann R. Farrer both of Bodcaw; four brothers, Rocky Johnson, Gordon Johnson and Scott Johnson all of California and Onal Johnson of Brownwood, Texas; one sister, Dester Duncan of California; his mother, Rhoda Johnson of Bakersfield, Calif.; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday, February 25, in the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Burke officiating.
