Mavie PruittPublished Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the Gurdon TimesMavie Pruitt, age 87, of Gurdon died Wednesday at the Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Gurdon. Survivors include two sons: Charles Pruitt of Gilbertown, Ala., and Rick Pruitt of Little Rock; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Mollie Pruitt of Camden and Faye Nichols of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. in Pharr Funeral Home with Rev. Don Stanley officiating, and interment followed in Bluff City Cemetery by Pharr Funeral Home.
