Local churches plan programs

Mt. Friendship, Curtis, with Pastor Rev. Louis Jones, will have Men-and-Womens Day on March 9 at 2:30 p.m. New Mt. Zion will be the guest, with Rev. William Colbert speaker.

New Mt. Zion Churchs 58th annual anniversary, where Rev. W. H. Colbert is pastor, will be held on March 16 at 2:30 p.m. Special guest will be Eastern Star Baptist Church of Smithton, where Rev. Marshall Allen is pastor.

Eastern Star Baptist Church will celebrate their pastors anniversary on March 23 at 3 p.m. Rev. Marshall Allen is pastor. Guest church and speaker will be St. John Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Williams.

A musical program will be held at Bethel Independent on March 30 at 6 p.m. Rev. Jewel Danner is pastor.

Meeting of Section One of Southwest District will convene at Mt. Olive Baptist Church On March 29-30, with Rev. Lewellyn Terry, pastor, and Rev. Johnny Harris, Section President.

Please pray for the sick and Bro. Calvin Johnson of Antoine/Okolona, Sister Annie Hubbard and Sister Rosie McCray, who is in Baptist Hospital, Little Rock. Lets pray for all who stand in the need of prayer.
