McGill seeks re-election for JPPublished Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the Gurdon TimesFrances McGill has announced that she will seek re-election to the office of the justice of the peace, District 10. She said she feels that it has been an honor to serve on the Quorum Court and appreciates the support she has received from the voters. This past year she served on the budget committee McGill is a lifetime resident of Clark County and she and her husband, Bob, have lived most of their lives in District 10. She graduated from Okolona High School and received degrees from Henderson State College and Henderson State University. She is retired from Gurdon High School where she was a guidance counselor, and she and her husband are active members of Gurdon United Methodist Church. McGill said that if re-elected she will continue to study the issues and attempt to make decisions that will be most beneficial to Clark County.
