Published Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the Gurdon Times

Vickie Smithpeters has announced that she is a candidate for re-election to the Clark County Quorum Court, District 9.

Smithpeters lives at Okolona, and has served on the court since 2006.

I enjoy serving on the court, said Smithpeters. Its been a learning experience meeting and greeting new people, learning about the government of the county and making sure that all of Clark County is taken care of.

Smithpeters is employed by the Gurdon School District, and is a former employee of Henderson State University.

She is a member of Center Grove Methodist Church. She is married to David Smithpeters, and has five children, from 14 to 33, and five grandchildren.

My phone line is always open to my constituents, and would love to hear from the people of Clark County about what they want and need done, she said.

Her home phone number is (870) 353-6428.

I would like to thank District 9 for letting me serve as their JP, she said.
